Going on an anniversary trip in July. I want all inclusive and adults only. I’ve never been, any suggestions?

We stayed at Excellence El Carmen last year for our 20th anniversary trip. All inclusive and adults only. Had a great time. Definitely recommend.

I second staying at the Excellence. No kids and very nice. Food was decent. Good variety and breakfast was actually really good.

Stayed at excellence this past November and just as the two posters before, I would recommenced it. Just a few fyi’s. The shuttle from the airport took over an hour bc we had so many stops at other resorts. The beach is nice, but the water is not calm or crystal clear. Again, these are not knocks in the resort bc we enjoyed our stay, just something I thought you should know. Oh.....and you get two free porn channels in your room!

Another for excellence el Carmen. We went in June and The sargassum was pretty bad though. They have a tractor going up and down the beach all day cleaning it though. Upgraded to excellence club when we got there for like $250 extra. Rooftop terrace with the plunge pool was awesome. Tip the waiters a dollar or two every drink and the service is great.
Tropical treasure is a ten minute walk down the beach with good massages on the beach that are way cheaper than the resort. There will be a lot of people peddling their crappy trinkets on the beach but just say no thanks and they’re not too bothersome

Just got back from there, would not go back. Food was average, waitstaff were nice though.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya

We went two years ago for our 10th anniversary. All-inclusive, adults only. We had a swim up room. Loved everything about it.

PC DR is a very popular topic on here. If you search, you’ll more more than you’ll ever want to know about PC.
