Looking into a trip to Punta Cana. I have Hyatt hotel points I need to use and they have a brand new all inclusive there. I'm looking at flights though and it will be $1k+ for 2 people from DFW in October. This seems high.

Flights to the Caribbean, Mexico and other desirable Central American countries have been insanely high once COVID restrictions were loosened.

Set alerts for your destination thru your favorite travel app and good luck!

Southwest is currently running a 50% off deal if you can wait to fly until 11/1 (but you have to book sometimes in the next two days)

Unfortunately Southwest doesn't fly directly to Punta Cana from DFW. Looks like i'd have to fly to Baltimore, switch planes and then fly there. A 3.5 hr flight is now 8+ hrs.

I'm having issues finding direct flights to many places from DFW unless using American.

And that’s why they can charge so much
