What’s the best plantation to book for a one or two night stay for anniversary weekend within a few hours drive of New Orleans. Houma’s House?

Yes to Houmas House. Great restaurant and outstanding drink selections at the Turtle Bar. It’s perfect for pre dinner drinks to sip while walking the grounds or a post dinner drink.
Just be aware their accommodations are not in the main house. They have cottages

Monmouth in Natchez.

We spend our first anniversary at Dunleith in Natchez. That was over 20 years ago and I think it's changed some, but it was very nice then.
