I like Peg Leg Pete's (usually a wait)and McGuire's Pub (across bridge in Pensacola, worth the short drive).

Flounder's Chowder House was alright.

Crabs on the Beach food was ok, but it's on a public beach pass through. Tons of traffic walking through.
Red Fish Blue Fish we sat and got drinks, but kids and wives couldn't find anything they liked, so we paid for drinks and left.
Landshark Landing was a waste.

Breakfast: Native Cafe
Lunch: Casino Beach ( food nothing special but you can look out over the Gulf and walk the pier before or after)
Dinner: Grand Marlin for a nice dinner, Peg Leg Pete's for fried seafood and oysters.
Get a Bushwhacker at the Sandshaker with a topper.

Fish House / Atlas Oyster downtown

Flounders has a good atmosphere. Food was good but been 2 or 3 years since I was there.

Naval Aviation Museum Cafe is cool for lunch. Looked up some info but looks like access is restricted per the website.

Important Visitor Information The National Naval Aviation Museum is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to current Department of Defense (DoD) ID cardholders. Access to NAS Pensacola is limited to current Department of Defense (DoD) ID card holders (active duty service members, retirees, and their families) and Veterans who possess a Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC) from the Department of Veterans Affairs that displays the Veteran’s eligibility status. DoD ID card holders can escort guests as part of the Trusted Traveler Program, but must remain with their guests at all times. Unless sponsored through the Trusted Traveler program, no civilians will be granted access onto the base until further notice, and thus will not be able to access the National Naval Aviation Museum. We have established a special visitor information line at 850-452-8450 for answers to your questions about visiting the museum and attending Blue Angels practice air shows. Plan your visit today!

quote:

REFUEL IN THE CUBI BAR CAFE The cafe opened in 1966 and its decor and layout duplicates the bar area of the famous Cubi Point Officers Club that was a major source of enjoyment for Navy and Marine Corps squadrons, ships and units as they passed into the Western Pacific. For nearly 40 years, the NAS Cubi Point Officers Club, in the Republic of the Philippines, was a marvelous mix of American efficiency and Filipino hospitality. The club was especially famous for its Plaque Bar, where transiting squadrons retired old plaques and commissioned new ones to commemorate each WestPac tour. The tradition of placing plaques in the O’ Club bar began during the Vietnam Conflict and endured until the closing of the base in 1992. When the original officers club was closed in 1992, the thousands of plaques that adorned the walls of the club as tokens of thanks were packed up and sent to the Museum to be placed as they were when the Cubi Club was closed. The legacy of this Cubi Bar brings back many memories to aviators whose squadron plaques decorate the walls.

If you want a nicer place, away from all the Alvin's Island crowd, check out George's. Food and service was excellent.

Paradise Bar and Grill - Try the Fried Green Beans and Cheese Curds. Best hidden bar / food on the beach for the $ Always good live music and cheap drinks.

Sneaky Tiki behind the RV park. Really cool vibe for a bar

Sidelines for Sports Bar.

Grand Marlin is as good as it gets.

Just got back a few days ago.

Sidelines was really good, horrible service and long wait.
Flounders was really good.
They have a Krispy Kreme.

Most of the fast food places are closed inside, went to the Popeyes and it was the best Popeyes I have ever been too. The service was better than Chick Fil A's and the food was hot and fresh. I always said, if Popeyes had consistent service/food like CFA it would be the superior fast food chain in the USA.

I second taco rock. It’s in gulf breeze and is packed at lunch. I was there at the end of June and they were between liquor licenses so we had beers for a donation. Quality food for sure.

Peg legs is a staple. Food is decent. Atmosphere is amazing.

Flounders is meh.

Joe Pattis is a must stop place the morning you’re going to cook a nice seafood dinner at the condo.

We love Pensacola Beach and have been going for 15+ years. Best town on the beach as far as we are concerned.

Go to Peg Leg Pete's during an off peak time.
Very early or very late.

Definitely native cafe for breakfast.
I enjoy peg leg Pete’s but it’s any south Louisiana fried food restaurant. Flounder’s is cool of you have kids. Lots to do and live music. Grand marlin is nice. Can’t think of the pizza place, it’s in boardwalk next to hooters, but really good New York style pizza
