High West Distillery.

Please report back on this. I’m thinking about a ski trip to PC next year and would like to check out high west. Specifically interested in how available their offerings are at the distillery. I’d like to try to pick up a couple of bottles of mid winters night dram.

You sir have impeccable taste. This last years vintage (Act 8) was phenomenal.

At present, the distillery on I80 is open for tastings and a “sensory” tour but traditional tours aren’t taking place. That said, hopefully things return to normal next year.

If you don’t want to make the trip out to Wanship, the general store on Park Ave (ie connected to the restaurant) sells all High West offerings that are available at the time.

As a High West fan, I’d really recommend trying dinner at the Nelson Cottage. Food is phenomenal and each course usually is accompanied with a whisky pairing. The place is small so reservations highly recommended. That said, they only take reservations 21 days out.

Enjoy.
