I have searched this site and about the time I get set on something I read a bad review. So I apologize in advance for asking what has already been asked. Please don't scold me :) But if you have somewhere you would like to recommend I would appreciate it.
Trip: 30th wedding anniversary somewhere "warm and with a beach"
Potential areas: Caribbean and Baja Mexico
Time: Mid March of this year for one week
Type: High end Beachfront and All inclusive (AI not required)

So you're trying to book less than a month out during Spring Break season? Good luck.

I would probably start with Virgin Islands and then check Mexico and Puerto Rico as well? I saw flights at abnormally low prices recently. As far as hotels, you should have a wide variety to choose from there.
As just a really nice place that typically can be had at a good value, I can highly recommend the Hotel El Convento in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, but it's not on the beach... just an incredible hotel in a converted convent. Short ride from the beach but tons of stuff to do in Old San Juan as well. Does not fit your exact description, but figured I'd let you know.

Just got back from grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas. Brand new resort. Large casino, several restaurants, beautiful and expansive grounds. Only about a 10 minute ride from the airport. I highly recommend it. It is not all inclusive

el convent hotel is a jewel been there several times for Valentines day type weekends. Walk the streets of old San Juan. Watch the tourists on and off the cruise ships. Spend a couple days at a resort 20 miles east which had a great lasy river pool. Play golf? great courses
