Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and lots of turkey, beer, and football . For those of you flying back home or for work tomorrow through Monday, please be on alert there are travel waivers up for all the airlines due to a chance of rain, sleet, and snow in the midwest. Chicago looks to be likely in the line of fire so if you're on American or United with a connection, you're in luck! For those of you going through Chicago Sunday, if possible go in the morning as it looks like the weather will get worse as the day continues.

If you have inconvenient flight times scheduled, feel free to call now and get rebooked for free. You can also try doing it online (for Southwest), but I find the agents on the phone are better (for Delta) as long as there are not waits over 10 minutes. If you need help rebooking or want to hear of some of your options, please feel free to ask for help and myself or someone on here can assist. I'm flying back to Buff tomorrow so will have free time then and also on Sunday to help.

As of right now, Delta, Southwest, United, American all have waivers up. The detailed information is below.

American
If you’re traveling to/through/from:

Green Bay, Wisconsin (GRB)
Kansas City, Missouri (MCI)
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (MKE)
Moline, Illinois (MLI)

Peoria, Illionis (PIA)

The change fee may be waived if you:

Are traveling on an American Airlines flight
Bought your ticket by November 23, 2018
Are scheduled to travel November 24 - 25, 2018
Can travel November 23 - 30, 2018
Don't change your origin or destination city
Rebook in the same cabin or pay the difference

Had a Frankfurt to O’Hare tomorrow. Saw this and added an extra day in Frankfurt because I’m not ready to go back to work after 2 weeks off. Lucked out because my original flight connected in Montreal for several hours and now I have a direct on Monday.

I just drive through that damn storm north to south today.

Included a three hour standstill in Iowa and blizzard zero visibility in Missouri.

Had to stop when the sun went down out of legit fear of the white out conditions.

So in terms of snow, I spent three hours a mile north of the casino in Osceola waiting for accidents to clear. When it finally started moving I had 12 in drifts against my car.

Then slow traffic for a few hours, then the wind picked up and it got fricking dicey. Called it quits when the sun went down just north of KC.
