Going to Maui with the Mrs. for the first time later this year. Any recommendations for things to do and restaurants? Thanks

Merrimans near Lahaina spectacular view and good food. You might get the wife to agree to a threesome after taking her there. My go to during the day was Da Kitchen.
Honolula bay (sp?) is a great place to snorkel. Road to Hanha is cool except for the driving part get 4 wheel drive and go all they way around the island instead of going back the way you came.

We went up the volcanoe, then rode bikes down. Snorkeling. Hana. Island hopped. Enjoy

Kimo's in Lahaina - right on water
Snorkeling Molokini over coral reefs and with the sea turtles, depending on timing you can see the whales as well
Rode to Hana - you can drive it yourself or they have tours that take you around and end up at winery.

Going in a couple weeks. Always looking for more ideas.
Definitely doing: road to hana, ziplining, Haleakala sunrise bike tour, one of the luaus, Spa at the Grand Wailea
Also looking at: snorkeling, Maui Ocean center, Tropical Plantation
We have gotten alot of recommendations for attractions, but not as much as far as food. It would be nice to get some local taste buds' opinion on where to eat vs. just going off of google results. Any additional food stops would be appreciated

Sunrise bike tour at Haleakala. The sunrise is magestic and the bike down is a kick in the arse. Don't rush it, stop when you ca. Eat, drink, take pics.
We used these guys with no complaints.
As far as dining and restaurants Maui wouldn't be Maui without a trip to Mama's Fish House. Absolute perfection.
We enoyed the beers from the Maui Brewing brewery but they don't serve food. What they do have is a different food truck parked outside each day and everything we had from the trucks was more than sufficient for brewery food.
For our Laua we went to the Feast at Lele. Wonderful experience but can be quite a drive back to your resort depending on where you are staying.

That place will make you never want to eat a crab cake in the gulf south again.

Heading to Maui in 3 weeks. Staying 4 days in Maui and 2 days in Honolulu. I am super pumped. I was going to bring my drone but I see all this news about an FAA license now so I guess not. Just gonna get alot of go pro video I guess now.

Mama's Fish house is absolutely fantastic and a must-do. Bring an extra credit card though...

Blue Water Rafting for the Molokini trip. It's a RIB instead of a ferry/people hauler. They take you to a few places before hand too. The boat ride was as much fun as snorkeling.
Ulupalkua Vineyards was a fun side trip. You can grab a few bottles of sweet, cheap wine.
Stay at the Four Seasons.

Also look into the Citi Prestige credit card. It has a 4th night free benefit.

Yeah, road to hana. Take your time and stop and explore the rain forest and passed hana are more waterfalls. George Harrison estate a few miles before hana. Mamas fishhouse OK but not spectacular. Walk the beach between the hotels 4 seasons, fairmont and grand wailea and go thru the properties. Well done gardens and properties. There is a breakfast place near mammas fishhouse...cant recall name, but it was great. Should be able to find on internet. Bring food and drinks with you on drive to hana.

We stayed in wailea and it took 30 minutes of drive time at minimum. Dont know how long from your location. Is that northwest? If so, that road has a fair share of traffic lites
