Late July Golf/Spa Trip

Had a trip planned for Scottsdale late July to play a few courses and with Arizona shutting down it’s not looking good. Any suggestions on a good location?

What about the Texas Hill Country?

Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL

If I were you I'd want to get out of the south/southwest during July. Colorado or Utah would be nice.

Outside of the bars, what on the list of new closures would impact this decision for you?
Golf and spas are up and running without changes arent they?

Don’t see why not. The pools at resorts may have more restrictions though.(but are still open)
And know that masks are mandatory around here. Although you don’t have to wear one obviously if you are doing outdoor activities where you can keep your distance.
It’s hot as hell end of July so he likely can score good deals on golf, spa treatments, etc.

Just not sure if they will shut the spa and pool down at the hotel. It will be pretty bad to travel that far to have that happen. We can cancel the hotel 2 days before without fees.

The peaks is only letting members play through the beginning of August. Not sure if hotel guests can play though.

We're headed to Sedona July 25 - August 1 and while we didnt plan to go to any bars, I really don't see this as impacting our trip at all. Everything we planned to do is still operational. Verde Canyon railroad, spas, golf, hiking, fishing and while we might not have the full selection of dining places we had hoped for I think we will get by okay.
Just my $.02 but I'd be pretty surprised to see additional restrictions.

Stayed at a house on Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri last weekend and had a great time. Played Old Kinderhook and it was a beauty, in pristine condition. No masks required, or having to ride single to a cart, you could take the pin out - it was business as usual, no special requirements.
There are some great golf courses near Branson, MO as well. I've played Buffalo Ridge Springs and Branson Hills. I haven't played Ozarks National yet but it is on my list. Big Cedar is home to Tiger Woods new course called Payne's Valley, which is partially complete (14 holes). They also have a Par 3 course that hosts a Senior PGA event, if that interests you. (I'm set in my ways, I stick to 18 holes, par 72 courses) The Branson entertainment district is mostly religious, kid-friendly, and some places are downright corny -- but there are plenty of places to stay away from there. Table Rock Lake is beautiful if you want to rent a cabin or lake house.

Grand Hotel, looking at this now? Anyone been last couple weeks? Anything for kids (7 and 11 girls)?

The Ozarks has become such a tourist spot. Between The lake of the Ozarks, to branson, to northern Arkansas. Starting to become difficult to find housing.
