Lake house rental recommendations

Need suggestions for a lake house to rent between New Orleans and Louisville which gives us a wide area to choose from.
Any good Lakes y'all can recommend. Will have kids from agrs 4-15 so hoping to find a place with a pool and boat rentals.

Time of year? What do you want to do? Clear water matter? Great fishing? Fishing doesn't matter?

Rented a house on Tablerock for a week. It's a really nice clear lake right outside Branson Missouri. That area has lots of stuff to do for pretty much everyone.
