Kid Friendly Hotels in Vegas

Wife has a meeting there Mid October and we were going to drive up from Phoenix for the weekend.
What Hotels are best for kids out there? We want to do 2 Cirque Shows and we dont plan on gambling much at all.
I did a Google Search and saw:
Mandalay Bay
The Mirage
Excalibur (My kid would love the castle theme)
Circus Circus (from what I have read on previous posts, ok to visit but not to stay)
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

New York New York - has an arcade, rollercoaster, pizza place, Hershey store etc. Brought my 2 kids to LV a few years ago and stayed here.
Excalibur & Circus Circus are old and dingy and I can't speak for the others.

Following this thread. Based on discussion of Vegas hotels in another thread, I am holding a reservation for one of those Terrace Suites w/ a fountain view at The Cosmopolitan. But that discussion wasn't specific to families. Traveling with a 12 year old for Spring Break and I'm not sure that's the best choice.

Cosmo is not kid/family friendly at all.

Agreed. Cosmo is very much geared towards adults only.
With kids, Mandalay Bay, NYNY, or Excalibur are the best choices. Circus Circus is a total dump. But yeah, take the kids in to see the show. I'd choose Mandalay Bay if it was a time the pool would be open. I'd choose NYNY if the pool is closed. They have a big arcade and the roller coaster.
There are tons of families and kids at Excalibur. It's ok, but it would never be my choice. It's one of the cheaper places on the strip and it definitely feels that way to me.

NYNY would probably be the cleanest of the kid friendly. Excaliber is a little dingy. Do not go to Circus Circus. Not only is it nasty it is a little scary too. My SIL didn't listen to me and took their kids there. After about a day they left for something safer.

The real answers here are off strip properties South Point and Red Rock.

Thanks all.
We were looking at Mandalay Bay because we think the kids would like the Michael Jackson Cirque Show as well as the aquarium, and then go to Circus Circus for a day trip.

I have stayed in Excalibur recently and it was nice. I have stayed at Circus Circus before and I thought it was fine but you do want to stay in the high rise tower off the lobby.

Being you are taking the kids there is a cool Pinball HOF that is basically across from the famous Welcome to Las Vegas Sign on the South end of the strip.
They also might like a trip to In and Out Burger.

I’m doing a two bedroom suite at Mandalay Bay with kids this spring.

i generally agree with this, although i'd say the atmosphere in NYNY would be more enjoyable for teens rather than young kids.
NYNY has alot of bars, and a somewhat cramped/crowded casino floor, which together yield a college party/dive bar atmosphere that i dont think is good for young kids (but teens should get a kick out of it).
for younger kids, or if you'd prefer to shelter the family a bit from drunkenness, mandalay bay is the best option on the strip.

Saw many working girls leaving the hotel when I stayed there.

Did they move it? Because I went there in 2019 and it was down the street from MGM Grand on Tropicana by where the Hard Rock used to be(now Virgin Casino)
