Key West, December 19-23
I’ll be in Key West for a few days before Christmas. We are staying at the Chelsea House and have reservations at Latitude one nights. Obviously, drinking heavily on Duvall street - what else should we do?

All we did was go see the Southern most point and went on a diving trip.

First - I highly recommend that you just take off wandering and stumble into multiple places. To me that's one of the best things about Key West, small enough that you can walk everywhere and always check out something new or different. Here's some places that have stuck with us:

Schooner Wharf - We like the Crab Benedict for breakfast, but love hanging there in the afternoons for the live acoustic music from Michael McCloud, older guy who's been playing there for 20+ years. Tuna Nachos are good, as is the Grouper Sandwich.

Bien Caribbean-Latino - Best Cuban sandwich I've ever had.

Cafe Sole - Hog Snapper was delicious

Garbo's Grill - excellent fish tacos

Eaton St Seafood Market - not a sit down restaurant, just a fresh market to buy meat to go. but - you can get a lobster roll though and it's pretty tasty, and right off the boat so it couldn't be more fresh.

Agave 308 Tequila Bar - One the best margaritas I've ever had

Seven Fish - had an excellent dinner here, loved the scallops

Bobby's Monkey Bar - smoky non-touristy cash-only bar with karaoke - if you are looking for that. we don't smoke, but we still dig this place as a late night hangout.

Enjoyed both of these. Only spent the day in Key West since we drove in from Duck Key, but enjoyed the historical aspect of it a lot.
