Just got back from Arizona / Utah trip
Itinerary:

Day 1: Drive from Phoenix to Sedona.
Day 2: Pink Jeep tour then Devils Bridge hike
Day 3: Drive to Meteor Crater and Petrified Forest with overnight in Flagstaff.
Day 4: Drive to South Rim and do the blue and red line bus stops. Overnight at El Tovar. Heavy snow this night.
Day 5: Drive to Page with a stop at Horseshoe Bend.
Day 6: Upper Antelope tour then drive to Monument Valley.
Day 7: Tour Monument Valley then drive to Springdale, Utah.
Day 8: Tour Zion then drive to Bryce and back. Weather was very foggy but the kids loved the heavy snow.
Day 9: Tour Zion
Day 10: Travel Home

Spent a lot of time in the car driving but we saw some great stuff. Great family trip. No signs of panic buying! Food a bit bland for my taste but the scenery was fantastic. Don’t now how to post pics and I am not a boomer.

Nice trip. Hit pretty much every major thing outside of arches/Moab in Utah. I need to get back to Zion sometime to hit the longer trails.

You had the perfect timing on the panic buying. That hit the middle of this week in AZ.

re: Just got back from Arizona / Utah trip
Been planning same trip starting May 6th planning 4.5 weeks with travel trailer. Have been to most of parks in Utah before but you never see everything. Utah is awesome, I have probably in the teens of Utah photos. You are right about a lot of driving but hopefully camping will cut down some of the redundant distances. Like out of Moad Arches is right there, but Canyonlands and the Needles district you drive more than visit. The only thing we are doing different is we are staying outside of Tucson to explore a couple of days then stopping at North Rim of GC for 3 or 4 days. Enter into Utah by Hovenweep, and do the round about of parks and exit by Cortez and we will spend a week by Durango. The summertime heat is extreme, hopefully we are avoiding it but prepared for all. At the north rim of the gc the nights can get to mid thirties at night. Great trip views of a life time hotels are few between and places to eat unless you are in a city are non existent. Looking forward to photos.

Probably not open yet, but North Rim is so much better.

That’s a lot of driving for 10 days especially with kids
