I know that these two places have been discussed before but, I'm in the final stages of trying to put together a vacation for myself and chose these two places just on the reviews I've read on the Travel Board. Which one would you all recommend as the best place to relax, unwind, decompress and just enjoy a laid back vacation with no worries?

That is a tough choice because they are both great. If you are going to do any snorkeling, diving or fishing, Caye Caulker is MUCH cheaper and first class in all of those departments. Very laid back and hardly anyone tried to sell us anything while we were there. Slightly younger/european backpacker vibe.
Isla has a more touristy feel and less authentic downtown. But, it is easier to get to, and has nicer beaches. More nightlife too.
Both felt safe and were pretty cheap. Both had plenty of liquor and bar swings to enjoy them on. You really cant go wrong either way.
