Iceland- an ongoing recap 8/16-08/21 ( Pics finally added on pg 2)

Hello all, I’m gonna do the best I can to keep this updated.
After 2 different 2 hour flights delayed from Memphis and Toronto respectively, and after zero sleep on the overnight flight, I’m finally in Reykjavik.
Went to the Blue Lagoon as soon as I could and enjoyed that for an hour or so. Got the mud masks and lounged and drank a beer. I was mentally exhausted and I do feel much more revitalized after the Lagoon.
Checked into my hostel ( first time staying in one ) and it’s a 6 bed room... just me... and 2 gorgeous girls from NY about my age, mid 20’s or so.
I’m gonna go walk around the main drag here once I recharge for a bit .

After getting virtually no sleep on the planes due to being cramped by the window and it was hot on the plane itself and being jet lagged AF, I slept about 11 hours last night once I got settled in and unpacked , some of my roommates did the same it seems.
Today I’ve got a 9-10 hour Game of Thrones filming tour scheduled and I couldn’t be more excited for this .
Also.. since last night.. the other beds have all been occupied by girls... so the count is 5 girls.. and this baw

The Game of thrones filming tour did not disappoint. That was worth $100... we got to see a few filming locations/ learn about the set and the cast while filming/ see some waterfalls that I can’t promounce or remember
Went to Burger Block for dinner.. really good burger .. however they don’t serve Ice with the drink so that is annoying but the burger was superb or fast-casual
Spun the wheel at Lebowski bar ( didn’t win any shots or beers sadly) , seems to be where the Americans hangout .. as I met a group of mid 30’s Texas guys who are doing their fantasy football draft in Iceland ... among other folks...
Solid day.. I’m pretty exhausted and a tad drunk.
The scenery here really is hard to believe . Once you get away from the city, it’s breathaking .
Tomorrow is the Golden circle with glaciers and waterfalls and all of that

The spot where Dracaerys randomly shows up and eats the little boys goat..
The walk the Hound/Arya take to get to the bloody gate at the Eeyrie
The village where the Thenns kill Ollies’ parents and overrun the village .
Several different waterfalls , some that weren’t in the show but also weren’t on any of the other tours .

You should absolutely do it. I had high expectations but this is majestic . Everything is so green .
As far as the women... sigh... most of them left to go elsewhere in Iceland ... people have been shuffling in and out of my room , I did have drinks with some guys from Puerto Rico and they got lost and left me at the bar and rolled in about 5:30 this morning
