I-40 between Knoxville and Asheville yet again closed by fallen boulders.
This isn't a duplicate from Feb 2019, a big boulder has west bound lanes totally closed and for today east bound as well.

tennessee's TDOT has coverage.

I love that stretch but you're taking a gamble driving it due to falling rocks or cars breaking down and no shoulder.

You could make an argument thats the best interstate in the country for a drive in a sports car.

It's not a bad drive on the way to the Dragon.

And it's reopened. It was, in the immortal words of the NC DOT, "a small slide".

I-26 going from Asheville to Johnson City doesn't have the turns, but does have the best scenery because you're along the upper slopes of mountains rather than down in a gully (which gets really miserable stinky when the paper mill is running or when the 18 wheelers are moving slow or stopped.)
