First time in there. Going for 5 days. Any recommendations on restaurants, bars, non-touristy places to see?

Kerry park for probably the best view of downtown. I will say this about the restaurants, do not expect any southern/gulf style seafood anywhere. Its all PNW crap like cod, salmon, mussels. Look in the Pike Place area for bars - lots in that area of downtown.

If you have time some good spots outside of Seattle: Chateau St. Michelle winery, 2) kayaking in Gig Harbor but we did this is August, don't know if it maybe too cold to do this when you are there. Ate at a restaurant called Wild Ginger which was pretty good.

Chihuly Garden and Glass was my favorite thing in Seattle!
