Glenwood Springs, Co

Anyone been to Glenwood Springs. Thinking of taking family next year on 2 week road trip to Grand Canyon and Colorado. Was hoping to make this part of our trip. Any suggestions?

I don't think such a place exists.
Do you mean Glenwood Springs?

The hot springs are cool, and they have a solid brewery there that specializes in sours (Casey Brewing). But it’s really just a small mountain town with pretty views.
I’m sure there’s plenty of hiking to be had as well.

Raft the Colorado River as well.

The amusement park there is pretty fun for a couple hours plus the cave tours in the park are cool also. You’re close enough to go see Aspen also which has a ton of things to do.

I went there for a wedding. Nice little town. Whitewater rafting was fun but hiking up to Hanging Lake was absolutely amazing. It was tough especially for us flatlanders but totally worth the views and experience.
If you do decide to go and hike hanging lake check into permitting rules and parking. They were about to change the parking and permitting rules when we went and we thankfully went early in the morning because by 9am very hard to find a parking spot.

Been twice. Just to go to the brewery already mentioned (Casey). The town looks like a cute little mountain town, but I haven't really explored it.
The drive there from Denver is gorgeous though.

We stayed there on our way to Aspen because of a late flight into Denver. Cool little town and we stayed at what is now Hotel Colorado. Supposedly Doc Holliday is buried there and there was a great pizza place in town cannot remember the name
