Anyone have any tips or tricks I should be aware of? In the past I was a regular of WDW, but my job relocated me to California I thought what the hell. I already have the hotels and tickets secured, but is there any little intricate difference between DL and WDW I need to be made aware of? TIA

Haven't been there enough to know the tips and tricks, also been awhile. It's known to be a lot more local feeling, less touristy. Still has a lot of the classic rides that WDW got rid of, but they aren't quite the same. Snow White is pretty different (not the mine train, the old one.) Some of the rides are longer, small world feels much longer there. Park feels a lot smaller though.

There are a ton of Disney boards that specialize in tips and tricks. Check out Disboards.com. They have a Disneyland section.

Really? Seriously? No way there are Disney boards on the internet. I’m shocked.

Havent been to DL, but I hear the whole FP+ system is a bit different than WDW. The parks are small compared to WDW and seems like a day at each is plenty.
