Co-worker and I will be in Dallas for about a week in April. Are there any must sees or must dos? Thanks in advance.

Back, and to the left.

We have 2 Ikea's, a tall freeway interchange, 2 new fancy bridges over a ditch and a lot of hot, uppity girls.

We enjoyed the G W Bush presidential library. The 911 section is very moving.
And there is a life size long horn cattle drive sculpture ( I guess is what you’d call it) in a park. I think it is near downtown; it’s cool IMO.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I remember seeing the cattle drive statues as a kid. Was neat. Planning to see them again.

If you’re a history or political buff, the JFK museum and the GWB Library are a good way to spend the afternoon.
Hamilton is in town all month at the Music Hall at Fair Park.
Nightlife: Deep Ellum or Lower Greenville for good restaurants, bars, and live music. Bishop Arts District in North Oak Cliff. Uptown along McKinney Ave. Legacy Hall at Legacy West in Plano. Knox/Henderson. West Village.
Alamo Drafthouse is the best full service dine in movie theater experience I’ve ever been to (several locations).
Northpark is the best mall in the country. Period.
Tour AT&T Stadium. Six Flags Over Texas should be open.
If the weather is nice, check out The Arboretum or Klyde Warren Park. Golf: Stevens Park in Oak Cliff (public course).
Museums: DMA is free. Meadows Museum at SMU has the largest collection of Spanish art outside of Spain. Nasher Sculpture Center. Perot Museum of Natural Science. Dallas World Aquarium.
Check out the Rangers before they move out of the Ballpark.
Head over to downtown Ft. Worth if you get a chance.
I’m sure Zappas Stache will be along soon with more selections...

Are you wanting to seduce your coworker? What’s your relationship like?
That will influence my answers

I already told him about the fancy bridges. I mean....there really aren't any must sees in Dallas. There is plenty of stuff if you are really into assassinations or art.....but no must sees for the average person. Your list is solid and if you are a drunk I can help point you in the right direction.

Dallas is an awesome city to live in but not a very good tourist destination.

Haha, no, not trying to seduce him.

I've lived here 3 years now. Really not a big tourist down as far as must see attractions. We have a shite ton of bars and restaurants and that's what people do here.

The Modern in Ft Worth has a nice collection of modern art. I think the architecture of the building itself is worth the trip.

It is a nice building. The Kimbell Museum next door, designed by Louis Khan, is a much more architecturally significant building so check that out too if you are in the area. And then the Amon Carter Museum down the street has a great collection of western art like Remington's and Russell's and its free. The Ft Worth Water Gardens downtown is worth a visit too.
