Cincinnati in May: Looking for Recommendations

Headed to Cincy for a three day conference in mid May and looking for suggestions on things to do and places to eat. I've only ever driven through once and did not stop, but the city looked nice on the river. Have heard that I need to try the chili and already checked the reds schedule but they are away. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated

skyline, just for lunch, you might be impressed or underwhelmed, so I wouldnt make a big deal out of it. Can get it at a reds game, but just not the entire menu.

well shite
History museum if they have completed the renovations, the zoo is big and can be interesting. the riverfront is a good walk. Newport across the river, you can walk across, has a cool area. Hofbrau haus is there.

I have family from Cincy and used to go there somewhat often. Don't go to Skyline for chili. Go to Camp Washington.
Don't have many other suggestions. We usually just went to King's Island while there.

I was there a few weeks ago. Downtown is very nice and easy to get around. There’s a big central market. Also Rhinegeist Brewery is awesome.

Find out if the Reds are in town.

I'm here and it's hot... Started my day in columbus at THE Ohio State University and made my way down 71. For you OH people, that is a terrible stretch of road minus the 1 or 2 paved parts (reminds me of I10 from the basin going towards laffy). Also funny thing is we're supposed to hit up the reds stadium tomorrow even though they're out of town. If the weather cooperates I'll post pics tomorrow

Sucks that the Reds are away or I would recommend Great American Smallpark fora game.
I'm partial to Cincinnati chili so I would recommend checking out a restaurant that serves it. I agree with the previous poster that recommended Camp Washington.
Cincinnati Zoo and the Newport Aquarium are nice enough.
Go just north of the city to Kings Island.
Taft's Ale House is good. The Woodburn Brewery too. The area around Great American Smallpark is really nice.

Had a great Italian dinner downtown at Sotto a couple of weeks ago.
Findlay market was interesting to walk around and could be a fun lunch.
Someone on here recommended Senate and it was very good. It's in the gentrifying Over the Rhine neighborhood not far from downtown with many bars, restaurants and shops.
Stayed at AC hotel next to ballpark and rooftop was scenic in a couple of ways.
And as mentioned, go to Rhinegeist.
