Chic - Punta Cana or Iberostar Grand - Bavaro

Can anyone offer some insight into these two resorts? Chic is newer, more modern looking, and slightly cheaper. The wife and I want something with a slightly younger crowd. TIA.

I've been to the Iberostar Grand in Playa Paraiso. The staff was phenomenal. The all-inclusive food was above average. The drinks were top shelf. I would go to another Iberostar Grand in a flash.

I went to the Iberostar Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana 2.5 years ago for our honeymoon. It was not a super young crowd, but it wasnt just old people either. We had a great relaxing time, I would recommend.

Stayed at chic in April, it was nice small resort good food for all inclusive, good pool party atmosphere, not crowded beach like bavaro. Iberostar is nice I hear though

also whatever one you choose check out "outback adventures" for a little culture and mountain ride. its #1 on tripadvisor

Iberostar is awesome. We've been in Jamaica and Grand Bavaro and had a good time at both. Good food, great staff and beautiful property. When we went it was a mix of honeymooners, 40-50 something year old Euro's on vacation, and couples in their 30s.
