Who's been before? For those who have never been, I'd highly recommend it. I took the metro into DC yesterday afternoon and walked around since I heard the cherry blossoms were in bloom. I was not disappointed, it's probably the best views I've gotten of the area. Nice and peaceful for such a busy area

I've been and it is in fact beautiful. A good friend of mine who now lives in DC did his proposal under the cherry blossoms. Made for some great photos.

Great pics!

One of the best things about living in DC...the blooms are beautiful.

I am not a baller like Pilot, but have one in our common area

I’m in DC right now. And, yes, they’re spectacular. Wife was here for them a few years ago, and we got a chance to return this week, and we took it.

We’re here along with about half the nation apparently. Holy shite this city is crowded. Spent a few days in NYC before, and they ain’t got nothing on DC as far as crowds. It doesn’t help that there’s a full TSA-type search to enter every fricking building. Museums and all. Metal detector, wallet, phone, glasses, etc. all through the scanner and they dig down deep into your backpacks. Kinda had me worried about my stash for a minute there.

I’m actually camped out on a bench resting in some museum right now while the wife drags the kiddos through. I assume Jody is with her. And, at this point, IDGAF.

Cuse- man I need to know when you are in DC. My office (when I go) is there and I can show you around and grab you a beer.

I didn't think it was too bad yesterday walking around crowd wise but I was only by the washington monument and jefferson. But , Jody doesn't go on vacation

For sure , I'll start a DC thread next time I'm around. Now that I'm based in Buffalo, DC is a quick weekend getaway especially with friends who live by Navy Yard and Arlington.

Radio said today is peak bloom. They expect cold temps and wind to kill them off this weekend.
