CDG -> LHR Question

I always fly into and out of LHR as I have an office in Southampton. I am taking the wife over for Mardi Gras and will be spending the first few days in CDG. What is the best way to get to LHR. Train? Plane?

Just in the airport? That sounds no fun.
This is a vague post. More details required. Are you going to be staying in London, or Southampton? That makes a difference too.
But if you meant Paris, it is easier to take the Eurostar from Gare du Nord to St Pancras in London.
But not if you're going to be staying in Southampton. If that's the case, I suggest taking a flight from De Gualle or Orly, and flying back to the UK, and take a car to Southampton.
And then, if you can't drive to SH for some reason, and you were planning on taking a train, then yeah, the Eurostar to Pancras is the best bet.

I was vague and my apologies. This is not a work trip so I will be staying in central Paris and then central London. Will not be heading to Southampton. I think we will take the Eurostar.
Basically the prices were equal (BA vs ES) and I believe total travel time and location is more favorable with the train.

Yeah you need to edit your post. If you are literally trying to get from one airport to the other then definitely fly, but if you mean from Paris to London then train. Train is a little more money usually but will save you hours in travel time.

No doubt Eurostar is the best option. LHr and CDG are long ways from the city centers. Add in security hassles, walking through giant airports and waiting to board a cramped plane. The ease and comfort of the train wins totally.
