Any thoughts on Bourbon Trail in January? I’ve been wanting to go and the timing works out for January but not sure of how bad the weather will be that time of year. Not interested in driving in heavy snow and perhaps road closures. TIA

They do get snow, but wind and ice are far more common in the area. Snow storms of any significance are few.

Wind is like death there in the winter

Usually not that bad. Snow and rain, occasionally ice but it's rare.

Have to hit up Woodford. Makers is good. Beam is ok. Four Roses is decent.

Woodford and Buffalo Trace were my favorite. The ride to woodford through all the racehorse country is beautiful.
