6 of us.
4 kids from 3 yo to 12 yo
Lego Discovery land
Boston Common - Oldest city park
These might be cool.
Anyone bring kids to boston? I would like to get some good beer and food as well... everything needs to be fairly close together so we can walk or have a short uber.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

I posted a long thread detailing a lot of stuff for Boston here. It should be pretty useful.
Where will you be staying?
If you bring the kids to Lego Discovery, there's a restaurant called American Made in Assembly Row you can walk to. It's owned by a local brewery so they have a lot of local beers.
I'd also look into the Children's Museum. It's very new and supposed to be very nice (I can't speak from experience - no kids).
I'd be happy to help with any other specifics you need, but again I'd give that guide a look first.

I'm just like the rest of you. I put my pants on one leg at a time. Only, after I put my pants on, I have nothing better to do with my life than give advice on the Travel Board.

Thanks man!
Yeah I'll definitely check it out. No clue where we are staying. Kinda want something different than the standard hotel.
We are driving up Maine for a 10 day after Boston.
We are looking at the tea party museum and ships. Apparently you can get most areas through subway. Should we use the subway?
Thought about staying north of the tea party museum near the harbor.
Suggestions that have good views?

Visit the USS Constitution. Very cool for kids.
My favorite restaurant in the city is Row 34. Great beer selection and raw bar.
Then go read Abitas thread.

I would highly recommend using the T (subway) to get around as much as possible. It's really convenient. Uber/Lyft will be able to get you everywhere else, and Boston is an extremely walkable city.
The Envoy would have good views, as will the Longwharf Marriott.
