Blue Angels In Pensacola - Viewing advice

My wife and I are heading to Florida July 13th for Watersound Beach. The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform at the Pensacola Air Show on July 14th, and it appears that they will have a dress rehearsal on July 13th. Looking for advice on what the "dress rehearsal" will be like, best place to see them fly, etc.

Only way to do it is to rent a boat and enjoy from the water. One of the best parties there is.

Sorry no help. We just watch them from the boat when we see them.
It’s a good show though. When I was a little kid the base comander pulled me out of the crowd and I got to sit with him, in his wife’s seat, pretty much about 50 yards from where they were performing very low menuvers. One of my favorite memories.

Get there few hours early. Dress rehearsal is typically around 2-3. Pay to park close by. Get as close to the pier as possible. That’s show center.
