Is the Mexican restaurant in Epcot the only place for these?

There is a Tequile Bar inside the Mexican Pacilion named La Cava del Tequila that is your best bet. Quality has gone down over the years but still probably the best to get both Queso and ritas.

Now, I think the Nomad Lounge at Tiffins in Animal Kingdom and the Dawa Bar in animal kingdom both have better margaritas and Nomad lounge has better offerings than Queso but if Queso and ritas are required, La Cava ftw

Maya Grill at Coranado Springs was excellent as well.

Not ideal but right outside of resort is a Chevys Fresh Mex. Ive stayed on site for company trips and we would go there for drinks and dinner

La Cava del Tequila

This is the correct answer. They are also in the process of building a outside version of La Cava, its going to be called Choza Tequila bar.

I am excited to try this place this fall. I love the decor and location(from what I saw in pics.) I'm afraid that it will be packed out once Avatar opens though.

Business has sucked so far there but I agree, I think it will pick up once Pandora opens. Outside of Victoria & Alberts, it was just as good as anything I've had anywhere at WDW. I'd put it up against Cali grill, Narcoose's, Shula's, Yachstman, BlueZoo, etc etc etc.

Because of the high prices and being in the parks, it scares some people off but the Nomad Lounge is AWESOME.

I got the Wagyu Strip Loin and Braised Short Rib and it was real good (granted, this was a year ago so I don't know if the standards are the same) but I continue to hear good things.

Animal Kingdom is home to some sold choices...Flaming Tree and Yak & Yeti Quick Service are both on point. I think Tusker House is the best character meal around. Boma and Sanaa at the resort are both real good (sunset st Sanaa is awesome), etc.

It's hard for me to squeeze them in so we make extra trips over to AKL just to dine. We'll usually do a half day at HS and a half day at AK just so we can eat at AKL rather than Hollywood Studios.

We are already going to the breakfast buffet that morning...so we'll probably have a late lunch.
Is Nomad Lounge kid friendly? I know this a stupid question.

Kids are most certainly allowed. Its a cool place (the entire restaurant) to walk around to see. They've got some sofas as well so if they aren't into just sitting there and behaving while mom and dad have some beverages they can at least sit and play on their iPad/leappad/your phone, etc.

You do have the full menu available to you as well.

It usually doesn't get more crowded than this

The veranda looks really cool as well. It looks like it would have a great view of Pandora.

no but it is probably the best(see tequila bar there).

You can get sangria margaritas and probably others with 30 types of tequila at Paradiso 37 at downtown disney/disney springs. they have nachos and guacamole, etc. they can give you queso on the side. SO you can get it there.

The cuban margaritas are great at Bongo's but I do not think they serve any cheese dip. They are also located in downtown disney/ springs.
