Best place to stay close to Universial Orlando

I stayed at Rosen Inn a few years ago and it wasn't bad. Very good price as well.

Good shuttle to Universal?

I don't recall if we got a shuttle, I thought we just got a cab. It's only 1.5 miles away so Uber/Lyft would be very cheap.
eta just saw on hotel website that they do offer a free shuttle to Universal.

Stay on property. The free fast passes are worth it.

We stayed at the Drury Inn on Sand Lake earlier this year. It's about a 5 minute drive from the park.
