Best breweries to visit in Colorado Springs & Boulder?
Posted by Suntiger on 8/31/20 at 6:13 pm00
We like a place with good vibes and lots of beer options. Usually like a Hazy IPA, Porter/Stout, Gose or sours.
What are your recommendations for a one or two night stay in each town?
TIA

Avery just outside of Boulder had the best beer, but a stale atmosphere.

That looks cool. May have to give that place a try.

Rayback is legit, but tends to have a lot of kids and dogs in the way sometimes. For great beer and a more unknown place try Vision Quest brewing, or Kettle and Spoke in the same complex of buildings. The brewer at Kettle and Spoke is from somewhere in Mississippi and great to kick it and drink with. I like Twisted Pine and the classic Mountain or Southern Sun as well

Left Hand is pretty close... Avery is good.
Definitely check out Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery on Pearl Street in Boulder. good food and brews.
Oskar Blues has a brew pub on Pearl too.

From the website, it looks like Mountain Sun is closed but Southern Sun is open.
I didn’t realize it was so close. I love their stuff, so I’ll be stopping by for sure.
Thanks for the suggestions! Travel Board never disappoints.

We visited CO SPGS for a couple of days earlier this summer:
All these places have seating and distance restrictions due to covid.
Goat Patch Brewing: LINK
Nice all around beer selection. North of downtown.
Brass Brewing: LINK
Same and close to downtown.
Phantom Canyon: downtown. I believe the first brewpub in CO SPGS. Same owners as Wynkoop/Denver. Serves food. Ask for their cask ESB...yum..
