Best Airport for Pico de Orizaba

Has anyone here climbed Pico de Orizaba? Looking to do this in January or February and am interested in others’ experience and logistics in getting to Tlachichuca, Puebla, Mexico.

I have not climbed it, but I have driven past it. People have died climbing it.
Best way to get to it would be to fly in to Mexico City and rent a car. Probably be best to stay in Puebla City or Orizaba. There are highways that take you most of the way there.

It's on my list to do in the next 2-3 years, so I am jealous!
Considered doing it in 2020 but opted for Kilimanjaro and Shuksan instead.
