The wifey and I are headed down there. Is there anything that Sandals or the travel agency don't disclose? Any hidden gems? Suggestions?

I'm guessing you're talking about the Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau?

It's very close to the airport.....

That's all I got about it specifically. I'm sure you'll be fine, Sandals has a good reputation. In downtown Nassau they roll up the sidewalks when the cruise ships aren't in town, it's really nice at the restaurants & bars that stay open once they've left.

It has been a while, but we enjoyed it on our honeymoon. Don't bother trying to hit all of the restaurants. Book the French one and the Crystal room every night you can. The one on the island across the small bay is decent, and they take you over on a boat, so it won't be super crowded. But it is just a poolside bar type place.

Are you staying in a room or one of the Bungalows? I think some of them had really small private pools, which to me wouldn't be worth it since you are not too close to the bars or beach.
