Looking to book a 5 day trip in late August and looking for suggestions. I had one booked for the wife (no pics) and ito Nashville and we cancelled. Looking for suggestions for a good place to do outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, beach). I am up for anything reasonably priced here in the US. Contemplating Lake Tahoe area but i'm open for other ideas. I have southwest airline vouchers available to use also. Thanks

No coastline, but fly into Albany, NY and go over into Vermont. Manchester, VT is a great place. Good food/drinks. Great hiking and rivers to kayak/tube. Plus as the most vaccinated state might be more resistant from restrictions.

Fly to Denver on Southwest and drive to Vail or Aspen. Great outdoor activities. We did that last August during COVID. Great restaurants and bars. Weather alway nice.
