Anyone cancel domestic trips yet?

Scheduled for San Diego in a month and right now I’m thinking it’s not looking good. Going to wait and see how the next couple weeks play out but was wondering if anyone traveling domestically in the next month has already canceled/postponed?

What's wrong with traveling domestically?

Nope. As long as Southwest doesn't cancel the flights, I'm going to Vegas this weekend. If it's as contagious as they believe, I'm gonna catch it one way or another. Might as well go out swinging.

Nothing yet. I’m concerned about the closing of larger venues which would drastically change the planned itinerary.

My question is, how are the airlines accommodating folks that have booked travel to an event that has been canceled?
ETA: or is it basically trip insurance or bust.

My wife and I have an anniversary trip scheduled in two weeks going to Hot Springs, AR. We're driving, so I don't expect that we're going to cancel anything. I also think that this thing will start to die down a little by then.

Was headed there for a conference in two weeks but conference was cancelled. Enjoy the trip.

The only way any of my travel gets canceled is if the airline refuses to let me on board.

I'm considering cancelling a D.C. trip scheduled for early May. I'm waiting for American to extend their cancellation policy.
I hate travelling anyway.

My Euro trip in ~6weeks is already not looking great. If my Sonoma trip gets screwed up too, I'm going to lose my mind.
No way I am cancelling, unless it is forced.

Just cancelled my New York trip. Broadway shows are cancelled and it looks like the Yankee game will be too. This sucks.

I just had to cancel...
3 flights
2 car rentals
2 hotel stays
for the rest of March. Got credit on all the flights, cancelled the rooms and car for 100% refund.
All of it was work related travel. Have even more planned in April but not making that call until the end of March.
Like others have said, at this point you should cancel if you were planning on attending events or social things where you were going. Trip to a cabin in the mountains? Keep it. Otherwise, I don't see anyone getting the full value from a trip over the next ~2 weeks.

Honestly, take all the domestic trips you can. Eat in restaurants and patronize small shops.
We're going to be bored as shite and they're going to need the $$$.

My employer embargoed all business travel until at least mid April.

What's the point in going if everything is closed. California is going on lockdown and soon. It's California.
