Anybody ever rented a houseboat and just cruised a lake?

Been looking around a bit. I know Lake Mead and maybe Lake Travis as well. The DFW area would be great if I could find something there.

Lake Ouachita and a few others around Hot Springs. I highly recommend doing this area

Yep. We did Lake DeGray a few years back. Slept 10-12, had a grill and hot tub. Pulled my Uncle's ski boat behind it. It was a good vacation.

You can rent houseboats @ McGee's Landing @ Henderson. Gotta pick the correct time of the year, or the mosquitos will chase you off the water.

Lake Ouchita is great!! Fishing scuba dive at dam hundreds of islands to beach on and swing out the gang plank all great for adults and or families. Get a large enough to have flying bridge for sure. Then next trip do Mead. You’ll love Ouchita though. Topography at Mead is just so different and bueatiful too
