Anniversary trip within driving distance of Lafayette

Trip will be in late June next year. Been looking a bit at Fredericksburg and Broken Bow, OK.
Not big on the idea of a B&B, would prefer a nice 1 bedroom cabin or hotel. Something with a deck and nice scenery. Would like to do a few hikes, maybe ATV tour, winery, restaurants, etc.
Any recommendations on destination and places to stay?

New Braunfels or the Green area of Texas Hill Country.

Look into the lodges at Arkansas State parks if you are looking to chill out. the have some of the best views in the south. 6 hours from Lafayette.
Wilhemmena, Petit Jean, and Mount Magazine are 3 great ones.
Or do all 3, they are within 1 hour drive of each other.
this is our go to short trip.
Add Degray Lake if you want to rent a boat or fish.

Most Fredericksburg B&B's are either small houses or several cabins. Most are not the kind where you have a room with a shared common area. There are many that are 5-10 miles out in the country from there.

We are planning our anniversary weekend for Feb/March, and your post led me to research some of this. I found this list, and many of these properties look amazing. Here's the link for the OP to check, because I'm sure one of these would work.
LINK
Two other spots we are considering are north bama in the Dismals Canyon. This looks ridiculously badass LINK
In Bush, La there is a farm that does a BnB with horseback riding and such. It also looks like a nice getaway. LINK

That Alabama spot looks awesome. Might have to check that out in the spring.

Fredericksburg, TX
Stay at Baron’s Creekside. Daniel is the owner. He’s a super nice guy from Switzerland. He’s got about 12-15 Swiss cabins built on the property.
Wineries:
William Chris & Kuhlman are our favorites, but there’s a TON more.
