I’m going with Roger’s mojo. I still believe there’s a little Mike Evans in him somewhere

If he finds the code to switch on beast mode our offense combined with our rushing defense will get the job done

A red zone offense.

Only 10 TDs in 22 attempts vs P5 schools.

I don't know what the main culprit would be. Mond not finding guys open. OL not giving Mond time. OL not winning the LOS for Williams. WRs not making plays for Mond. Combo of everything.

Not trying to be mean, but I’m rejecting that as not specific enough

Agree with a bigtime receiver stepping up, but mostly I think our biggest thing missing that would allow us to go 10-2 is consistency from Mond. He looked pretty good against USCe, similar to Clemson, but he’s had some poor games too. Need him on his A-game to get past miss st, Auburn, and LSU.

My close second goes to not losing secondary players to targeting (or injury). We already are not good at that position outside of Donovan, but when Renfro went out they picked on Myles Jones bad. He got beat several times and we were lucky USCe receivers dropped very catchable passes. Can’t afford to have 2nd or 3rd stringers out there.

I almost went with this myself, but decided that having Rogers become a stud receiver was more important, our defense shutting down the run really does help make opponents one dimensional and I think we can handle that even if we are a little weak in the secondary

Christian Kirk.

I just have a hard time seeing us beat all 3 of LSU, Auburn, and Miss St.

Competent cornerback play. With a couple decent cover corners we would go from a good defense to potentially great

Fine. We need 2012 JFF. We'd finish 10-2 and no games would be close. Happy now?

Well that would make me very happy

But we can’t get JFF back

I just want to execute in the red zone. All these close games would be 2-3 scores easily.

2012 JFF we converted like 70% of our red zone trips to TDs. That is filthy. The best way to get that is Mond's play need to be elevated. So step yo game up Kellan. I want 10-2/

I think a large part of it is that Jimbo has ingrained in Mond a total and complete fear of turning the ball over in the red zone

As he should. Look at Watson. He’s already throw like 4 picks in the red zone.

I think it’s one of Jimbos biggest commandments “thou shalt not turnover the ball in the red zone”.

Yeah I think this is going to be something we just struggle with under Jimbo when we don’t have an elite QB. I am still trying to change how I think about us and the way we play because it’s so different from Sumlin

Mond isn;t elite, but he's good.

Look at the improvement he's made since last year.

17 to 18
Comp % 51% to 61%
YPA 6.06 to 8.41
Rating 108.8 to 143.1
QBR 50.7 to 73.3

Give him his Jr and Sr year and he's going to challenge for All SEC 2nd team behind All World Tua.

We have a quarterback who isnt gonna win games for you and a secondary that is awful outside of run support, which they are terrific at. Choose either one. If we had one or the other we are probably a 10 win team

Eta: with that said, I thought the 4th quarter was very encouraging for mond

An Offensive Line
Linebacker depth
A safety who can stay in the stadium for 4 quarters.

He’s shown some serious flashes of greatness. The 2nd half of the Clemson game was epic.
