RIP John Ward

Son of a bitch idk why I didn't ever consider that this could happen at some point soon


God bless a Vol legend whose voice still flows trough my head during memories of utter and exuberant joy. Memories I will never forget nor will I ever forget John Ward. RIP

I'm talking about this to my in-laws, who are visiting from Omaha and are Husker fans. They just don't get it.

I hope that as he walked through those pearly gates, St Peter just said "give him six"

RIP John Ward. You were the first experience I ever had of VOLS sports.

When I first saw your post on tRant, it brought tears to my eyes. That reaction kinda shocked me but when I thought about it for a moment it started to make sense. For most of us, some of the happiest childhood memories we have with our parents and loved ones were narrated by John Ward. He was a huge part of our lives for a long time and to me his loss kinda feels like the last part of childhood being ripped away.
