Cox Panoramic WiFi isn’t cutting it at my house

I’d like to upgrade to a WiFi mesh system. Which system works best?

ETA:

I just added 2 Ring Floodlights and a Ring Doorbell

It seems like there’s a aluminum layer on my foam padding inside the wall.

This makes it tough for my WiFi to reach anything outside. Any advice on getting past this?

Depends on how much you want to spend. Ubiquiti makes great shite, but it's not Google wifi cheap.

You could cover 10,000 sq ft for under $1000

Look up Ubiquiti AP Pros. Put a few of them in your house. I recommend hardwiring to a Ubiquiti POE switch and a Security Gateway. You can get the cloud key if you want to control your network away from home or set up an always running computer or RPi.

mesh uses wireless signal to go from the center hub to the outer access points(APs), then broad casts wifi.

Hard wiring APs is the best route as you wont have any interference with the wireless of a mesh. Mesh's do serve a purpose but it isnt the best, end all be all solution that people on here make it out to be.

Ubiquiti AP Pros can do wireless as well as hardwire as well and better at both.

It is my personal experience that mesh networks manage connection to the correct node better than any AP I've ever used at my house (including UB AP Pro). I'd find myself having to turn off wifi and turn it back on my phone when I walk through my house to get the strongest connection. I've never had to do that with my mesh wireless network...which is BTW Ubiquiti's mesh router system, Amplifi.

Also, there are a lot of companies switching from these Ubiquiti APs to the Cisco Meraki devices due to cloud management and mesh capabilities...at least that's what I'm hearing.

One of these costs hundreds and one of these costs thousands. Most big corps are already, and should already be, using meraki devices

Damn you need a better vendor....you can get an MR74 on freaking Ebay for 750...I think we pay 500-600 a pop from CDW....but we probably order at least 20 or more at a time.

Not including the licensing though

Edit: you're still proving my point

Maybe you just had some bad firmware. I walked around constantly and have seemless switching between AP Pros. Far better than my previous mesh setup. Speeds are better on my gig connection as well.
