I did too. I got anxious about it yesterday and went through our MSPN and downloaded it last night on my work laptop.
interestingly, the enterprise version didn't work after 3 downloads (said my ISO was corrupted,) but enterprise N did, so I went with that.
it was a scramble to have all my files and email set up by 8 this morning.
complaints:
couple of buggy things on the start menu. icons not showing, live tiles.
edge has had some "hiccups" a little slow loading and content not working on it. I've used it instead of chrome today and wouldn't make the permanent switch as of today
my usb adapter for my third monitor won't work, down to 2. first world problems
good -
start menu is the shite. I liked the idea of live tiles in 8, but hated that it's on a whole other screen. combining them is better than anything Apple has done.
edge is infinitely better than IE 11
builtin mail and calendar are a lot more efficient than in 8 by being windows instead of metro apps.. I set up my outlook for exchange, but have tried to just use the local app all day and been pretty happy with it. I only opened outlook to reference an old buried email with graphics and add a G2M to a calendar event. I see that as beneficial for traveling and not having outlook take up the whole screen.
i'm curious about action center. kinda cool to get a view of my unread emails without having to open outlook, but i'll have to find out if it's actually much more benefit.
cortana's fun. I asked if the Rangers won and what my calendar looked like for the week. better than Siri and gave me a hardon for Halo again. If they could make her come up on my desktop that would be epic.

Upgraded my work laptop. Went perfectly with no complaints.
Just upgraded my primary desktop at home. Now it boots to Windows 10 and then reboots after about 30 seconds in an endless cycle. I'm now using my secondary desktop at home.

I keep getting a system partition error... is it bc i have my ssd mirrored from the mech hard drive?
What do I do?
EDIT: The actual error reads "We couldn't update the system reserved partition."

Currently in the process of upgrading. This will be my earliest adoption of a new OS ever. Hope I don't regret it...

I recently (a couple months ago) purchased a computer xps 8700. Upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 earlier this week. There are a couple of things that 8.1 featured that i miss with 10. One is the extension of the start page where all the programs are listed. I know 10 will show that with "all programs" but it seems there are a lot less programs now than before. The other is that adobe flash is integrated in Windows, but some videos that I attempt to play (and none of cnn videos) recognize that flash player is already installed. Another problem was I.E.11 freezing up regularly. The only solution I found for that was to install firefox, and download the flash player to that browser. Videos work fine with firefox, and it seems much smoother than I.E.11 with no freeze ups.

HamCandy, I had the same error msg when attempting to upgrade my laptop from Win 7. I don't know if this is SSD related or not. I had cloned my hard drive to an SSD and swapped the drives (so I could slap the original hard drive back in if the upgrade failed catastrophically). Took me a while to find an answer, but here is what worked for me.
From the Start Menu right clock on Computer and select Manage. In Computer Management click on Disk Management (under Storage). I saw a 100Mb system partition with no drive letter. This is what the message says couldn't be updated. Windows 10 wants this to be at least 350Mb. You need to extend the partition.
MiniTool Partition Wizard (Free, 9.0) was recommended. I downloaded it, figured out how to use it, and took care of business. The Win 10 upgrade then went off without another hitch. I went back and used the software again as the cloning to my new SSD didn't leave any unallocated space for over provisioning. That went well also.

I updated my old PC last night. Took a good bit longer since that system doesn't have an SSD.
Hadn't turned that PC on since the update to 8.1 so I had 148 windows updates before I could load up 10.
Updates plus 10 took about 4 hours but once done, it worked like a charm.
Now I am going to goof off some more and do the clean install of 10 on my backup machine.

I updated my Lenovo x100e (great little netbook, just underpowered processor for Windows 7 and 8) that I don't use very often. after driver updates it ran fantastically with 10. Probably will start taking that out of the office more often if it holds up.

10 doesn't have media center and I need it for my tv tuner.

Just to let you boys know. I figured out my 80070005 issue. I'm not sure if anyone else with have this issue but I guess it is worth mentioning.
A little over a year ago I had an issue with my profile so I created a new profile, copied my files over, disabled the old profile, and deleted the user. I neglected to delete the files for that profile from the Users directory.
I found in the setup log on the Win 10 upgrade (here if anyone needs it: C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther\setuperr.log) that it was still trying to upgrade those files from the deleted profile and couldn't access them because their permissions were all jacked up. I went ahead and deleted the whole folder in safe mode and the upgrade worked like a charm after that.
Feel dumb it took me 4-5 days to figure that out.

Upgraded my backup system last night, then did a clean install this morning. Seems to have worked.
Now I need to upgrade my step-dad's computer then my sister's laptop.
A bit worried about the laptop since it seems like people on here were having more trouble with non-desktop upgrades.

By the way, the old system is MUCH faster. I mean like a new system faster now that I did a clean install.
That system was originally Windows 7, the upgraded to 8 then 8.1 and somewhere along the line, something went a bit hinky that made the system very slow at load up.
The clean install seems to have knocked out that problem.

Reserved the update long ago and still no confirmation.
Posted on 8/8/15 at 9:56 pm to BamaHater
You can force the upgrade by downloading the media creation tool from the windows 10 page.
I didn't actually get the ok for either desktop. I just used that tool to push the download.

My problem I had as well. Check the updates list. I bet yours said it failed. I expect it's because your comp goes to sleep or shuts off. I think that's what mine did.

I don't have the Get "Windows 10" app so I followed some a link to figure out why LINK
It said to make sure updates are auto and while I was doing that I noticed an update 80070570 that I hadn't done yet. It keeps failing to update. Not sure if these have anything do with the other? This is what happens when I try to update it though
Anyway, I can't even get the Windows 10 app so maybe I have to fix this update first? Anybody that can help me? The troubleshooting page said to make sure I have SP1 so I checked
and also to check if my license was retail, OEM, or volume
So it looks like I have SP1 and I have an OEM license. The troubleshoot mentioned going into cmd as admin and making sure some updates were installed. Looks like I have 3035583 but 2952664 didn't show up when I searched. How do I download that update? Does any of this make sense to anyone?
Shouldn't I be able to get W10?
Nothing is ever easy for this kind of stuff for me, is W10 worth it?
ETA: Maybe I don't have KB3035583 as this is the Update I'm trying to download and I keep getting error. But it showed up in CMD.
