Didn't think about goodwill.

I need a sport coat too. I'll make a pass and kill two birds with one stone.

Big old pawn shops. Guaranteed they have a tons piled up in the back warehouse. However getting someone to dig for one will be your problem.

Ebay is another suggestion. There are still many of the toshiba dvd/vcr combos in unopened boxes around the country. Lots of small companies bought up inventory and sell them for $200+

I went to 3 about 6 months ago looking for one and they laughed at me and said no.

its because they are all in the back where no one wants to go for couple of dollar sale. but trust me, they have them

The last toshiba combo model made was Toshiba SD-V296, if anyone needs a part number to search. There are lots of these unopened around

eBay vcr and you will find plenty

I bought a magnavox dvd vcr combo at sears Black Friday 2011. Such a short time ago but seems now like ages

It’s funny looking at old tech and prices. You start realizing how much money over the years you’ve thrown away on gadget junk. It’s why I now only buy cheap used phones on eBay for myself. Nothing over $75. Can’t believe people happily fork over $1000 for a phone that will be worth half that in a year or two
