Spotify Family Question

I been having Spotify Premium but recently upgraded to Spotify Family thinking I would get use of 6 devices. I now have figured out that we still only get 3 offline devices. Normally when I'm online and someone else gets online, only one of us can listen to their music. Is this how it's supposed to work? What's the benefit of Family over premium?

Family basically is Premium for multiple users. You each have your own account that can be used independently of one another. It's like having multiple accounts but only paying a small charge for the additional ones. Each can save their own playlists and be played at the same time on different devices.

I split Spotify Family with other friends ... basically you can get Spotify Premium for $2.50
