If it's too bad may be able to do a flat rate repair on it. Usually cheaper than a part by part repair.

I spilled a whisky drink on mine and thought I was screwed. It only fried the circuit board for the battery though. It would only turn on when plugged in. I bought a new one from iFixit along with some tools. I was able to slowly remove the battery (it's glued onto the case) and install a brand new one. Cleaned up the inside and keys with isopropyl alcohol. Runs like a champ now
As long as the logic board didn't get fried you should be ok. Let it dry for a few days and see if it'll turn on.

My wife spilled the kid's medicine on her MacBook Pro and it did the same thing.
Took it to Apple and being liquid damage, they send it off and replace everything that could be affected. When I got it back, the work order said everything (screen, logic board, batter, top/bottom case) except the SSD was replaced.
