FYI Best buy and Amazon have them discounted. I just picked up a pair along with the Echo Dot.

Question - I have a 60 in Sony smartTV with a Sony sound bar --- is it worth upgrading and getting the Sonos Soundbar? I've been thinking about getting the first floor of my house to have Sonos.

Sonos play 1 you mean? $50 off on target and Sonos you mean?

Thanks for the heads up

I bought 2 play 1's from target this morning (used red card and got another 7% off).

The Sonos play bar is incredible, have you seen that on sale anywhere?

Good call on the target card - I shoulda listened to the wife and got that card

As far as the playbar, no sales I've seen, but some www said starting cybermonday there might be a sale on the other sonos.

How do you get 7%?

My red card is 5

Picking up two more, can I use target red card online ?

My wife said our red card is 5%, but, when I got the confirmation email it said 7%. I also bought something else later and it said 8%.

And yes, you can use the red card online. Select / input the card info in at payment type part.

I went and Google and read some reviews on this and you might want to read up on it. Seems like it's a good quality product but has a huge flaw with no HDMI ports.

Yeah. That's what I like about my Sony soundbar. Has 4 HDMI, w one Arc-HDMI.

What I find interesting is that the only way to get the Sonos to play TV sound is w connecting the soundbar to the TV then having all the other Sonos in the house in the same group.

I mean to say I can't play stuff from the TV in my sonos without a playbar.

Correct. I have a play 5 that I'd like to use as a "louder speaker" than my TV but there's no real way to connect it to the TV sound out.
