Question about Directv Now and SECN+

I cut the cord over the winter and have been using Directv Now for my live TV, paired with an antennae. With baseball season approaching, I wanted to log in to the WatchESPN app to make sure I still have access to SECN+ in order to catch all of the LSU baseball I can. However, when I put in my username and password I get an error message saying I am not authorized to access this content. Google search didn't help at all, and I was wondering if anyone else had ran into this.
Before anyone asks, I have the $55 a month package that includes SECN.

Did you pick Directv Now as the provider or Direct Tv? Its easy to click wrong one (speaking from experience).

I feel like an idiot now. I just assumed DirectV and Now would be under the same umbrella. Didn't even attempt to look for Directv Now as a provider. Thanks fellas

There's actually a known issue where it gives that error even though you're logged into DirecTV Now. I've had to use the login for my internet provider a few times to view some stuff on there

Directvnow no longer allows for access to the + content. I’m swapping to sling this week to not miss any State games

Correct. As pointed out earlier, Directv Now no longer supports ESPN 3 content (since November) in WatchESPN app.

I hadn't noticed til I went and looked into it today, because I'm still migrating towards cutting my cable. But definitely making me consider going back to the drawing board on picking a streaming service.

I believe YouTubeTV gives you access to it, or they did as of a month or two ago. I know these things are pretty fluid.

Yeah. DirecTV Now's lack of access to ESPN/SECN's streaming college baseball would be a deal killer for me. We burn that up in the spring.

I figure worst case I'd get the ESPN+ subscription which I believe includes ESPN3 right? Even at an extra $4.99/month still cheaper than cable lol.

I'm just realizing that I'm gonna be screwed for baseball season. Do you for sure get espn3 with espn+? I think + is all its own thing and not the channels.
I really don't want to switch from DTVNow because I like it, but I'm gonna have to figure something out.
Looks like crisis averted. I signed into my ESPN app with my ATT login for internet and I actually can get espn3.

Yeah I looked further and ESPN+ is its own thing.
Worst case I will pick up a second streaming service during baseball. It'll still be cheaper than cable.

Are y'all sure you aren't getting SECN+ content with Directv Now? I'm pretty sure it only affects ESPN3 content. I have watched a few gymnastics meets this year with my Directv Now credentials, and those are on SECN+.

I'll have to check. I do watch some ESPN3 games for football occasionally, but there are workarounds.
