Purchasing an Apple laptop

My MacBook Pro crapped out last night after 8 years. Is it better to purchase it directly from Apple or from somewhere like Amazon. It's a little cheaper on Amazon but I was wondering has anyone had any issues with these retailers.
Thanks
Thanks

I would not have an issue if it is shipped and sold by Amazon.
If it is sold by someone else, I likely wouldn't do it.
Maybe if it was at least fulfilled by Amazon.
But I am very cautious with that kind of stuff.

I've bought a couple from B&H Photo www.bhphotovideo.com over the years & have been very happy. No shipping, no tax, and great customer service.

I'd personally say buy it from apple. Probably get it cheaper through Amazon and such, but i feel buying it from the retailer least allows it to come with a warranty through apple and such.

Look at refurbs on Apple's website. You'll get a cheaper price and it comes with the same warranty as buying new.

My last two MacBook Pro laptops I purchased at MacMall.com. Reputable site and they don't charge sales tax.
