Problem with dots on the screen on Sony TV

I have a Sony XBR65X900F. Bought it in Sept. just today we noticed that there are a bunch of grey dots all over the screen.
Here’s the weird part: it only shows up through HDMI. I’ve checked different Apple TVs on it, different HDMI cords, and different HDMI inputs.
When I go to Netflix through the TV apps, the dots aren’t there.
I did a search on google but didn’t see anything. Wanted to ask here before I call the company for warranty.

Get your warranty claim started.

Update: talked to Sony today and they sent me info to see if it would fix the tv.
The fix? Unplug the TV and let it sit for one minute.
shite you not.
And it worked.

The wife and I were watching something a few weeks ago and she noticed an odd pixel. It was the only one and toward the bottom right of the screen. We paused the TV and began grousing about it (it's only a year or two old). We unpaused the TV as the discussion continued. Eventually one of us changed the channel and the issue went away. We went back to the other channel and it came back.
Apparently it was something with either the channel or the show itself.
