Been having a few random unknown people call my cell phone and say that they've had a missed call from me. Mind you, that I haven't called these people at all. What the hell is going on? Anyone else have this happen - and if so, is there a way to stop this? I'm not "tech" at all, so answer like you're speaking to a 3rd grader pls.

I've been having it happen over the last year or so...one guy called me like 3 times and didn't believe me when I told him I'm not calling him. On average I have this happen twice a month.

Yep happens in cycles I find. Or did happen before I installed an app for this such a thing. Now any number that is a spoof, scam or telemarketer all get denied without me having to reject the call.

I'm using an app called "Hiya" to screen for spammers. It has worked very well so far. It's free too!

yep. I used to get spoofed calls from my son's number in the middle of the night. middle of the dang night. think how annoying that was. It happened 8 to 10 times and just stopped. The govt could stop that crap if they cared.
