Uverse 2 year promo ended and the price went from 150 to 220 for 1k internet and a few hundred channels. Any suggestions for streaming services that carry the above channels? The wife loves the trashy reality channels.

Not YouTubeTv. Listened to the wife bitch all through the Christmas holiday she couldn't watch any Hallmark Christmas movies.

Just have her subscribe to the Hallmark Channel. They have their own app and she can watch the movies when she wants.

Don't get the hopes up with that one. The app doesn't include all the recent movies. It is very limited in selection. It isn't what you would think it is.

Yep. I think there's a Hallmark Movie app on Roku, but it's a paid subscription.

Frndly TV is a $6 a month streaming service that just has Hallmark, the Weather Channel, and a few others.

Call them and say you are thinking about switching to another provider. Get new promo pricing.

There is a Hallmark App and a Hallmark Movies Paid service.
Have you looked at the paid service?

dude, you gotta call ATT and ask for the retention department. Don't answer any of their questions. just say, I am canceling my account, give me the retention department. That will get you out of india and back into the states to someone who is helpful. Be a dick. Tell them you are leaving and tell them why...because they simply aren't competitive with all the new streaming options. You can get another year of the better rate every time you call. PITA to have to call every year but I am going on 5 years of this now.

I live in a neighborhood that sent out bids for cable and internet and the only response was from ATT. They've got the entire 300 home neighborhood by the balls since they are the lone service provider. You either have Uverse or Direct TV. I've called a few times, got nasty, and talked to the retention dept without any luck. The best they would do is lower my internet, reduce my channels, and it would still be $170.

We went from $230 to $110 by keeping Internet and base TV and returning all of the cable boxes. Add $70 for YouTubeTV and Philo and we're currently saving $50 a month. Our contract is up at the beginning of August and at that point we'll qualify for the promotional pricing again and we add $20-$30 more a month to the savings.
