I recently got a LG thinQ AI Class 7 tv. Youtube TV app installed fine and works fine except that at varying time intervals (might be 10 minutes of watching or an hour) it will stop streaming the channel I was watching and go to the Youtube TV channel guide. None of my other TVs do this.

Has anyone had this happen before with any tv? Any ideas why this would happen? Any fixes?

I have a 2019 LG TV (different model) and mine does the same thing. I had to add a Roku to use YouTube TV on it. I don't mean to pee on your parade but LG's WebOS is a horrible excuse for a TV OS. I am done buying LG TVs.

Yall must have some bad luck or got shitty TVs. I have an LG C7 and have no issues with YouTube TV.

Yeah, my LG OLED worked great streaming. I just decided to switch to a Firestick 4K for more options with apps.

It's almost always better to get an external device instead of using the built in TV apps in my experience
